I have worked at large conferences and award ceremonies with, and for, multinational companies like AstraZeneca, Johnson & Johnson, Dubai Racing Club, MARS GCC, Nestlé, Moevenpick Middle East, The Meydan Hotel, Global Education and Skills Forum, Global Teacher Prize and Longines amongst others.
For Longines, I covered the Dubai World Cup (Flat Racing, Endurance Racing as well as Show Jumping events.
During my tenure in Dubai, I had the privilege to work with several foreign dignitaries including former President Bill Clinton, former Prime Minister Tony Blair, music stars such as Andrea Bocelli, Jenifer Lewis, Hollywood stars such as Charlize Theron, Matthew McConaughey, Salma Hayek, Hugh Jackman, International sport stars such as boxing world champion Wladimir Klitschko, West Indies cricket player Brian Lara and several more.
The Global Education and Skills Forum took place at the Atlantis Hotel on the Palm, Dubai with an attendee number of up to 3500 people and probably ranks up in the top prestigious events held in the UAE, right along with the Dubai World Cup, with 80,000 attendees.
With large events like these, I got used to work under immense pressure, not only with the amount of work, but also with the distance covered by foot moving around from location to location within the event. Distances to cover at these events would easily reach 25km/day. Working from 06:00 in the morning up to 02:00 the next morning, after which processing and distribution of the bulk the images would take place. I mention this to indicate that I am goal driven and motivated by a challenge and thrive under pressure.
Other than the above, I have covered events at smaller scales, such as documenting private meetings of world renown philanthropists, including Bill Gates and the top 20 billionaire philanthropists in the Middle East and India.
I have been the sole photographer with private meetings attended by the Ruler Of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. This role was later taken over by the Royal Media.
Furthermore, I have experience in traveling internationally for work and covered events in Chengdu, China. This included Press Conferences. Gala Dinners, Award Ceremonies as well as Horse Racing.
